LATHES WITH VARIABLE SPEED CONTROL

The lathes with variable speed control (Inverter lathes) are universal lathes but speed control is stepless by the use of a frequency inverter. The universal inverter-controlled lathes ensure a constant cutting speed (V-const), that is the cutting speed is maintained when the workpiece diameter is changed, which results in higher precision and smoothness of the surface. The inverter lathe machine CU325RD is the smallest available. The next largest inverter lathe is the C 400 TS with a body width of 320mm.

The most popular inverter lathes providing greater machining stability are the inverter lathes CU400MRD, CU 500 MRD and CU 580 MRD with a body width of 400 mm and a spindle opening of 72 mm. In order to satisfy the client's requirements, universal lathes C11MTS with a spindle opening of 80 mm and CU 500 MTRD, CU630RD and CU 730 RD are available, with a spindle opening of 103 mm and a workable diameter of up to 730 mm. are 560m wide and spindle openings 103 and 132mm are designed for heavy loads. For machining large diameters are lathes with inverter control CU 800RD, CU1000RD and CU1250RD with width of 700 mm body and spindle hole 155 mm. The largest inverter lathe is the CU1410RD with a body width of 800 mm and a spindle opening of 205 mm.
